Question:  Can I have a refund of my deposit?

Answer: To reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is necessary, securing both time and services. In case of cancellation, this deposit is non-transferable and covers the photographer's loss. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the session date, payable via bank transfer or cash. Full payment is required before photo release.


Question: Can I print and share the photographs provided by PhotographyDM?
 
Answer: Absolutely! While PhotographyDM maintains the copyright to all the images included in your photography package, your license grants you permission to print and share the photos for personal use. Feel free to create prints, albums, or share them on social media to cherish and celebrate your special day with friends and family. If you have any questions about usage rights, don't hesitate to reach out to PhotographyDM for clarification.
 

Question: Where are you based, and are you willing to travel for weddings? 
 
Answer: We are located in Warminster, Wiltshire, but we are more than happy to travel anywhere in the UK or abroad to capture your special day. Question: When can we expect to receive our wedding photographs?
 
Answer: Your wedding photographs will be delivered to you as retouched, high-resolution digital files. You can anticipate receiving some sneak peeks just 48 hours after your wedding to get a glimpse of the magic captured on your special day. The full gallery of images will be ready for you approximately 8 weeks from your wedding date. This timeline allows for thorough editing to ensure each photo meets our high standards of quality and reflects the beauty of your celebration. If you have any questions or need updates along the way, feel free to reach out. We're committed to delivering stunning memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime.
 

Question: Is there a booking fee required to reserve our wedding date?
 
Answer: Yes, to secure your wedding date, we require a booking fee equivalent to 50% of the total package price. This deposit serves to reserve your date exclusively and will be deducted from your final balance. The remaining balance is due in full two weeks before your wedding day. We understand that wedding planning can involve budget considerations, so we are happy to offer flexible payment plans to accommodate your needs. Please feel free to discuss payment options with us, and we'll work together to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience leading up to your special day.
 

Question: Do we need to book a second photographer?
 
Answer: No, you don't need to book a second photographer as we already provide two photographers for your wedding day coverage. With our team of two photographers, we ensure comprehensive coverage of your special day, capturing every moment from different angles and perspectives. This allows us to document your wedding day in its entirety and ensures that no precious moments are missed. If you have any questions or specific requests regarding photography coverage, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're here to ensure your wedding photography experience exceeds your expectations.

Terms and Conditions​

 

Payment Terms: To reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is necessary, securing both time and services. In case of cancellation, this deposit is non-transferable and covers the photographer's loss. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the session date, payable via bank transfer or cash. Full payment is required before photo release. Please provide payment confirmation.

 

Please arrive promptly for your photo session. If you anticipate being late, kindly inform me in advance. Please note that your session will begin at the scheduled time, regardless of arrival time. Arriving late may result in a shorter session and fewer final images. If you are more than 30 minutes late, the session will be cancelled, and the full session fee will be forfeited. Rescheduling will be subject to availability and additional cost. Thank you for your understanding.

 

For sessions over 50 miles from Warminster BA12 9DW, traveling expenses and toll-gate costs will be quoted separately. Please reach out for more information regarding these additional expenses.

 

Please be advised that for all Wedding Packages, if the event venue is over 100 kilometers (or one hour's drive) from the Photographer's office Warminster BA12 9DW, the Client is responsible for providing suitable accommodation for the Photographer and an assistant, if needed. Accommodation charges are not included in the quote and will be billed separately.

 

Your photoshoot can take place at your home or any chosen location. If you opt for a venue, it should be arranged by you, as the Photographer will not cover any venue hire fees. Please note that any damages caused to the property during the session will be the client's responsibility.

 

Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy: To reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days before your session. For outdoor/weather-dependent sessions, we'll advise rescheduling if weather conditions are unsuitable. Your session will be moved to the next available date at no extra cost. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will be forfeited.

 

Delivery: Upon completion, the Client will receive a private online gallery via email for downloading their session. The gallery will remain available online for 14 days. The retouching and editing process typically takes between 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the package. The Photographer will select the best images for editing and upload them to the Client's private gallery as High-Resolution JPEGs. If the Client requires a memory stick due to lack of internet access, please notify the Photographer at least 1 week in advance. Any courier fees for product delivery are not included in the quote and are the responsibility of the Client. Please note that RAW images remain the property of PhotographyDM, and no unedited images will be released.

 

Display: The Client grants permission for the Photographer to display and promote images for advertising, publicity, websites, exhibitions, competitions, magazine articles, and other media. This includes lawful use on social media platforms, where the Client may be tagged or identified unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Photographer agrees to use the material responsibly and without causing harm to the Client.

 

Failure to Perform: In the event that the Photographer is unable to provide photographic services due to circumstances beyond her control, such as illness, unforeseen events, or equipment issues, the session may need to be rescheduled. If the Photographer is unable to complete the coverage, another photographer may be appointed on her behalf, if available. If this is not possible, any fees paid by the Client will be returned, and the Photographer will not be liable for further damages beyond the amount of this Agreement. This limitation of liability also applies in cases where images are lost or damaged due to equipment malfunction or other unforeseen circumstances.
